168. Smoked Orange Marmalade Bacon Wrapped Scallops!
Perfectly seared sea scallops wrapped in applewood smoked bacon with a sweet and spicy orange marmalade sauce.
Ingredients
- Fresh Sea Scallops
- Applewood Smoked Bacon
- Sea Salt
- McCormick Grounded Black Peppercorns
- Orange Marmalade
- McCormick Crushed Red Pepper
- Wood Skewers
- All-Clad Nonstick Grill
- Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Butter
- Culinary Basting Brush
Directions
- Wrap your scallops with your bacon. Stick wood skewers through them to keep them together. Season with sea salt and ground black pepper.
- Mix together in a bowl some orange marmalade and crushed red pepper. Brush some of that sauce on your scallops.
- Heat your non stick grill on medium high heat and add some oil and butter. Grill your bacon wrapped scallops on all sides for 3-4 minutes, brushing on more spicy marmalade. Enjoy!
