177. Kid Friendly Chicken Tenders & Fries!
Simple and delightful kids meal no fuss and easily prepared. Chic Fil-A is cool but, you can make that.
Ingredients
- Frozen and Thawed out Chicken Tender Cutlets
- Idaho Potatoes Rinsed, Sliced Into French Fry Size, Rinsed Again & Pat Dry
- Vegetable Oil
- Morton Iodized Table Salt
- Gluten Free Flour
- Baking Powder
- Organic Arrowhead Cornmeal
- One Egg
- Milk
Directions
- Heat two pots on medium high heat with vegetable oil about 2 inches up the pots. Mix in a bowl some flour, milk, one cracked egg, baking powder, and cornmeal. Mix to the consistency of pancake batter. Season liberally with salt. Set aside.
- Season your cut fries with salt. Toss your fries in one of your pots of oil, deep fry for about 6 minutes, occasionally turning. Take out and set aside for about 4 minutes on paper towels. Reheat the pot and drop your fries in once again, deep fry for about 6 minutes, take out and set aside on paper towels to soak up the excess grease. Season to taste with more salt.
- Dredge your chicken in your batter, gently shake off the excess batter. Drop your chicken in your other pot and deep fry 5-8 minutes or until golden brown. Plate and enjoy!
