203. Cheesy Ground Beef Penne!



Penne pasta and ground beef casserole perfectly seasoned with a delicious cheese sauce.

Ingredients
Directions
  1. Cook your penne pasta noodles according to packaged instructions. Drain and set aside. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil and butter. Toss in your ground beef, season with some of your taco seasoning, and cook while breaking apart and turning for about 8 minutes. Take out and set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Heat another pan on medium high heat and add lots of butter, as it starts to melt add a little flour and whisk well to create a roux. Pour in a little milk, turn your heat down to simmer and whisk well until your milk starts to thicken. 
  3. Gradually pour in a little more milk as needed while whisking to achieve a saucy consistency. Gradually add your gruyere cheese and continue to whisk well adding more milk and cheese as needed to create a nice cheesy saucy consistency. Turn off the heat.
  4. Add your ground beef and penne noodles to a baking dish and mix well to incorporate. Pour in your cheesy sauce and mix well. Sprinkle a little more cheese on top, bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, and enjoy! #recipesbyvance
