166. Caper Pasta Arrabbiata!
Arrabbiata meaning spicy tomato sauce, papperdelle pasta noodles, seasoned and seared capers and sun dried tomatoes.
Ingredients
- Golden Egg Papperdelle Pasta Noodles
- Sun Dried Tomatoes
- Italian Capers In Sea Salt
- Barilla Tomato & Basil Sauce
- Cento Tomato Paste
- McCormick Crushed Red Pepper
- Sea Salt
- McCormick Grounded Black Peppercorns
- Fresh Chopped Basil
- Domino Granulated Sugar
- Grated Ricotta Cheese
- Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
- Cook your papperdelle noodles according to packaged instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Saute while mixing your capers and sun dried tomatoes for about 4 minutes.
- Heat a pot on medium high heat and pour in some of your tomato sauce, and add a little tomato paste. Mix well, season with salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, and sugar.
- Plate your noodles with your tomato sauce, mix well, add your capers and sun dried tomatoes. Top your grated ricotta cheese, garnish with some fresh chopped basil and enjoy!
