156. Argentina Choripan!
A simple no fuss smoked Italian sausage on a nice hoagie with a delicious homemade chimichurri sauce.

- Smoked Sausage
- A Nice Hoagie Roll
- Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Chopped Parsley
- Fresh Chopped Oregano
- McCormick Minced Garlic
- McCormick Crushed Red Pepper
- Aged White Wine Vinegar
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl mix together some chopped parsley, chopped oregano, minced garlic, crushed red pepper, white wine vinegar, and olive oil. Mix well to create your chimichurri sauce. Set aside.
- Toast your hoagie roll in the oven for a few minutes. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil, Slice your smoked sausage in half lengthwise but not all the way through so it opens up like a book. Sear your sausage on both sides for 4-5 minutes.
- Spread some of your chimichurri sauce on your hoagie roll. Place your sausage between your roll, add more chimichurri sauce on your sausage, serve and enjoy!
