Chris from DoorDash Merchant Support here, following up on your inquiry to add photos to your DoorDash menu for Taco Tuesdays. Thank you for submitting this request!
If you are interested in scheduling a free photoshoot with a DoorDash-contracted photographer, please respond directly to this email with a preferred date and time for your photoshoot. Please make sure you select a photoshoot date that is at least 7 days in advance.
Once we submit your photoshoot request, our Photography Team will reach out via email with further details.
For the photography session, please prepare 10 of your restaurant's most popular dishes. To prevent confusion, make sure that these items are available on your DoorDash menu. During the shoot, please provide the photographer with the menu name of each dish while it's being shot so that we can match menu items to images correctly. You can expect the photoshoot to take roughly one hour.
If you already have professional photos of your menu items that you'd like to use, you are able to add them using the Merchant Portal. To do this follow the steps listed below:
1. Log into the Merchant Portal.
2. Click Menu from tool bar on the left hand side of screen.
3. Select the menu you would like to add the photo(s) to.
4. Click on the grey image inside the item you would like to add the photo(s) to.
5. Click on + Add Image button.
6. Click on + Upload New Image.
7. Name the image. (Best practice is the name of the item)
8. Click Choose Image to Upload and select the image you would like to use.
9. Click Crop and Upload in the bottom right hand side of the screen.
