A super tender and juicy filet mignon with a beautiful red wine gravy sauce.
Ingredients
- Filet Mignon Steak
- Morton Iodized Table Salt
- McCormick Ground Black Pepper
- Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Kitchen Basics Beef Stock
- Red Wine
- Butter
- Gluten Free Flour
Directions
- Heat a pan on medium high heat and add lots of butter and some flour. Mix well to make a roux. Pour in some red wine, and some beef stock and continue to whisk well until your sauce reaches a nice consistency. Take out and set aside.
- Heat another pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Season your steak with salt and pepper and sear on both sides for about 8-10 minutes for a nice medium and depending on the thickness. Set aside to rest for about 4 minutes. Plate, pour our on your sauce, serve with your choice of sides and enjoy! #recipesbyvance
