A delicious mushroom kale & onion cheese pizza with a homemade tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- Store Bought Pizza Dough
- Cento San Marzano Organic Peeled Tomatoes
- Cento Tomato Paste
- Domino Granulated Sugar
- McCormick Mediterranean Oregano Seasoning
- Organic Basil Seasoning
- McCormick Minced Onion
- McCormick Minced Garlic
- Sliced Mushrooms
- Sliced White Onion
- Fresh Kale
- Mozzarella Cheese Slices
- Gluten Free Flour
- Morton Iodized Table Salt
- McCormick Ground Black Pepper
- Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
- Heat a pot on medium high heat and add in your canned tomatoes, some tomato paste, sugar, oregano flakes, basil flakes, minced onion, and minced garlic. Mix well while stirring for about 5 minutes, season to taste with salt and pepper. Turn off your heat and set your sauce aside.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Flour a table top surface and roll out your pizza dough. Place your pizza dough on a sheet pan.
- Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Saute your white onion slices for about 5 minutes occasionally turning. Toss in your kale and sliced mushrooms, season to taste with salt and pepper and saute for an additional 5 minutes occasionally turning. Take out and set on paper towels to soak up the excess oil.
- Ladle your tomato sauce on your dough and spread evenly. Top with slices of cheese, and your kale and onion mixture. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes or until your dough is cooked all the way through. Enjoy! #recipesbyvance
