Deep Fried Rack Of Lamb w/ Cabernet Sauce

A tender and juicy deep fried rack of lamb with blended spices and a delicious cabernet sauce.


  1. In a large ziplock bag mix cornmeal, salt & pepper, and lots of smoked paprika. Put your rack of lamb in the ziplock bag and mix to coat in your cornmeal mixture. Take out and set aside.
  2. Heat a pot of oil on medium high heat up to 3 inches in a pot. When your oil is hot deep fry your rack of lamb for about 7 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. When your rack of lamb is done deep frying place in a baking dish and bake in the oven for about 12 minutes or until it reaches a nice medium temperature in the middle. Take out and set aside.
  4. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Now lets make a roux. Melt plenty of butter in the pan and whisk well with some flour. Pour in some cabernet wine and continue to whisk well for about 5 minutes or until your sauce has reached a nice consistency. 
  5. Slice your rack of lamb in half, plate with your cabernet sauce, and choice of sides. Enjoy! #recipesbyvance
