Saffron Shrimp & Rice

Succulent shrimp sauted with blended saffron spices over a delicious yellow rice.


  1. Cook your rice according to package instructions, drain and pack tight into a small shallow bowl and set aside. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil and butter. Toss in your chopped red peppers, your cored zucchini, some minced ginger, minced onion, and minced garlic. Saute while stirring for about 8 minutes.
  2. Toss in your shrimp, season with your chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and saffron seasoning. Toss in your shrimp and saute occasionally flipping your shrimp for about 5 minutes. 
  3. Pour in some white wine to deglaze the pan. Saute for about 5 minutes while stirring. Turn your small shallow bowl of packed rice over and onto your plate. 
  4. Top your rice off with your sauted shrimp, place your zucchini around the plate then drizzle the pan drippings with your red peppers, minced garlic, minced onion, and minced ginger around your plate. Enjoy! #recipesbyvance
