Crispy Asian Style Orange Chicken.
Ingredients
- Tropicana Orange Juice
- Domino Granulated Sugar
- Kikkoman Japanese Soy Sauce
- McCormick Minced Garlic
- Organic Minced Ginger
- Season Rice Wine Vinegar
- Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Argo Corn Starch
- McCormick Crushed Red Pepper
- Chopped Green Onion
- Orange Zest
- Boneless Chicken Breast's or Thigh's
- Morton Iodized Table Salt
- McCormick Ground Black Pepper
- Gluten Free Flour
Directions
- Slice your chicken into small pieces. In a ziplock bag add some seasoned cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Place your pieces of chicken into the ziplock bag, seal, and mix to coat well. Take out and set aside.
- Heat a pot on medium high heat and add oil up about 3 inches in the pot. Deep fry your chicken pieces for about 6 minutes or until they start to float to the top. (That's when their done). Take out and set aside on paper towels.
- Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Pour in some orange juice, and rice wine vinegar. Add some sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper flakes, orange zest, some water and flour. Whisk very well until sauce starts to thicken. Turn off the heat, continue to whisk well as your sauce cools for a couple minutes.
