An elegant yet delicious shirataki stir fry with a subtle Japanese flavor.
Ingredients
- Mandoline Slicer
- Shirataki Noodles
- Thawed Out Cooked Shrimp
- Zucchini
- Carrots
- Sliced Red Radish
- Season Rice Wine Vinegar
- Butter
- Toasted Sesame Oil
Directions
Note: Shirataki noodles if cooked incorrectly can have a bad smell and texture. So be sure to treat them as follows.
- Thoroughly rinse and drain your noodles. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and boil your noodles for about 6 minutes. Thoroughly rinse and drain your noodles.
- Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil and butter. Stir fry your noodles for about 8 minutes until they start to smoke a little and all the water dries out. Take out and set aside on paper towels to soak up the excess oils.
- Using your mandoline, slice your zucchini, red radish, and carrots. Heat that same pan on medium high heat and add some oil and butter. Toss in your vegetables, season with salt and pepper, pour in a little seasoned rice wine vinegar, and cook while occasionally turning for about 4 minutes.
- Toss in your noodles and continue to cook and mix for about 2 more minutes. Plate and enjoy! #recipesbyvance
