French Onion Chicken

Perfectly seared chicken and a french onion soup marriage with a hint of middle eastern flavor.

  • Sliced White Onions
  • Olive Oil
  • Butter
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Fresh Chopped Rosemary
  • Beef Broth
  • Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • Parmesan Cheese Sprinkles

  1. Heat a pot on medium high heat and add some oil and lots and lots of butter. Turn your heat down low. Toss in your sliced onions, season with salt and pepper and saute while stirring for about 10 minutes or until translucent. 
  2. Pour in lots of beef broth. Turn the heat up to medium high. Boil for about 5 minutes, season with fresh chopped rosemary. Pour this mixture into containers for refrigeration later.
  3. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Season your boneless chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese sprinkles. Pat your seasoning blend onto your chicken.
  4. Pour some of your french onion soup into the pan. Toss in your chicken a sear on both sides for about 8 minutes or until there is no pink inside.
  5. With a slotted spoon plate your french onions, Top your onions off with your chicken then top your chicken off with some more of your onions. Enjoy!
