16. Korean BBQ Squid

An absolutely delightful fresh roasted squid with a Korean BBQ sauce.


  • One Whole Squid Body Cleaned With The Legs Removed
  • Cilantro
Ingredients for the sauce
  • Minced Garlic
  • Brown Sugar
  • Rice Wine Vinegar
  • Soy Sauce
  • Minced Ginger
  • Mirin
  • Sesame Oil
  • Black Ground Pepper

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl. Slice your squid body into rings and toss to coat in your marinade and into the fridge for about 2 hours.
  2. Preheat your oven to 500 degrees. Add some sesame oil to a baking pan to get hot. 
  3. Take your squid out and place in your baking dish to bake for about 10 minutes. Set your remaining sauce to the side. 
  4. When your squid is done plate then microwave your remaining sauce for about 10 seconds, pour over top of your squid, garnish with some cilantro and enjoy!
