418. Buttermilk Pancake Batter Onion Rings
Super appetizing buttermilk deep fried onion rings.

- Buttermilk
- Seasoned Corn Meal
- Wet Pancake Batter
- Sliced White Onion
- Olive Oil
Directions
- Grab 3 bowls. In one bowl add buttermilk, in the second add corn meal, in the third bowl add your wet pancake batter.
- Slice your onions pretty thick. Heat a pot on medium high heat and add some oil up to 2 inches.
- Soak your rings in your buttermilk for about 3 minutes. Next coat them with your corn meal, the dredge them in your wet pancake batter.
- When your oil is hot deep fry your onion rings for about 5-6 minutes or until golden brown, occasionally gently stirring so they don't stick together. Take them out and place on paper towels to soak up the excess oil, plate and enjoy!
