Greek Gyros w/ Tzatziki Sauce



A traditional Greek lamb gyro, seasoned to perfection with a delicious cucumber and dill tzatziki  sauce.

Directions
  1. In a large ziplock bag mix together your Greek seasoning blend ingredients. Place your leg of lamb in the bag, seal tight and marinate in the fridge for about a hour. 
  2. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Drizzle a little olive oil in a baking dish and place in the oven for a few minutes to get hot. Bake your leg of lamb for about 40 minutes or until there is little to no pink inside.
  3. Take your lamb out and set it aside to rest for about 4 minutes. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Sear your pita flatbread for about 4 minutes on both sides or until lightly browned.
  4. Thinly slice your lamb, place in down the middle of your flatbread, top that with some of your cucumber & dill Greek yogurt, some sliced white onions, sliced tomato, and mint leaves (chopped). Enjoy!
