Teriyaki Baked Salmon

Delicious salmon steaks marinated in a homemade teriyaki sauce.

Main Ingredients
  • Salmon Fillets 
  • Chopped Green onion

  1. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Saute your teriyaki sauce ingredients for about 2 minutes. Add a little water to slow down the cooking. 
  2. In a bowl mix together some hot water and corn starch. Pour this thickening agent into your teriyaki sauce pan and continue to stir or whisk thoroughly until sauce has reached a nice consistency. Set aside and let cool.
  3. Pour your teriyaki sauce into a large ziplock bag. Toss in your salmon fillets, mix well then place in the fridge to marinate for about an hour.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Drizzle a little oil into a baking dish. Place your baking dish in the oven for a few minutes to get the oil hot. 
  5. Take your baking dish out and put your marinated salmon fillets in the baking dish. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. Take out, garnish with chives, sprinkle a little more minced garlic and minced ginger if you like, enjoy!
