Truffle Sea Salt Braised Leeks & Shallots

The most delicious braised leeks and shallots seasoned beautifully with truffle sea salt, and herbs.


  1. Make some slits halfway down your leeks close to the roots. Separate your leaves in order to rinse well. Pat your leaks dry with paper towels.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Pour some chicken stock in a baking dish and place in the oven to heat. 
  3. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil and butter. Season your leeks with your truffle sea salt, fresh ground pepper, and ginger powder. Sear your leeks on both sides for about 5 minutes and nice and browned.
  4. Place your leeks in your chicken stock dish and braise in the oven for about 15 minutes. Take out and serve as a side to some of your favorite dishes. #recipesbyvance
