Guinness Braised Lamb Stew

Beautiful lamb shank perfectly seasoned and slowly braised in a guinness broth with potatoes and carrots.


  1. Heat a large pot on medium high heat and pour in lots of beef stock, pour in some guinness beer, and a little worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil then turn your heat down low to simmer.
  2. Season your lamb shank liberally with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss your lamb shank in your broth and braise on low heat for about 35 minutes per pound.
  3. Season your potatoes and carrots with salt and pepper, and toss them in to braise along with your lamb shank. Serve and enjoy!
