154. Authentic Mexican Fish Taco!



Deep fried tilapia seasoned beautifully with mexican sauces and spices. Flour tortillas with cabbage, onions, radishes, and cilantro. Topped with salsa verde, and chipotle pepper mild sauce.

Directions
  1. In a bowl mix together some flour, baking powder, salt, fresh ground black pepper, chili powder, and ground cardamom. Lightly coat your tilapia filet in the mixture, shake off the excess, set aside. 
  2. Add some water to your flour mixture and whisk well into a pancake like batter. Heat a pot on medium high heat and add some oil about two inches up the pot. Dredge your floured tilapia in your batter, deep fry for about 4 minutes or until golden brown, set aside on paper towels to soak up the excess oil. 
  3. Slice your fried tilapia in half lengthwise. In another pan heat up your flour tortilla on both sides for a few minutes.
  4. Place some of your chopped cabbage on your tortilla, top it with your fried tilapia pieces, add some sliced red onions, spoon on some salsa verde, spoon on some chipotle pepper sauce, garnish with your radish slices, a fresh lime slice, and cilantro. Serve and enjoy!
