10. Spicy Vegan Sausages & Homemade Humus


Beautiful Artisan Vegan Sausages Packed with Grains, Vegetables, and Smoked Chipotle Chili De Arbol Peppers. Served w/ A Delicious Homemade Chickpea Hummus and Sauteed Mushrooms.


Ingredients

  • Field Roast Vegan Mexican Chipotle Sausages
  • Sliced Button Mushrooms
  • Canned Garbanzo Beans / Chickpeas
  • Lemon
  • Minced Garlic
  • Tahini Paste
  • Ground Cumin
  • Chilli Powder
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Butter
  • Parsley Flakes



Directions

  1. Drain your canned chickpeas. In a bowl mix and mash your chickpeas along with some fresh squeezed lemon juice, salt & pepper, minced garlic, olive oil, tahini paste, and ground cumin. Chill in the fridge.
  2. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil and butter. Season and saute your mushrooms for about 4 minutes. Take out and set aside.
  3. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Sear your sausages all around for about 7 minutes.
  4. Plate your dish like so finishing your hummus off with some chili powder, and drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy!
