7. Marinated Hawaiian Pork Chop & Asparagus
Tender pork chop, cooked to perfection, marinated in a delicious Hawaiian style sauce. Served atop seared asparagus, perfectly seasoned. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- Bone in Pork Chop
- Sugar
- Tomato Paste
- Soy Sauce
- Vinegar
- Canned Pineapples
- Ginger Seasoning
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Orange
- Salt & Pepper
- Asparagus
- Olive Oil
Directions
- Stab your pork chop numerous times with a sharp knife on both sides. (This will help the marinade penetrate the pork chop).
- In a large bowl add sugar, tomato paste, soy sauce, vinegar, the juice from the canned pineapples, ginger seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, freshly squeezed orange juice, salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour your marinade into a large ziplock bag. Put your pork chop in the bag, seal tight, shake and mix well, place in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Heat a pan on medium high heat and some oil. Sear your pork chop on both sides for about 7-9 minutes or until fully cooked through.
- Heat another pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Slice your asparagus in half and cook for about 6 minutes (season with salt and pepper) periodically turning. Plate and enjoy!
