247. General Tso's Tofu!
A healthy and traditional Chinese general tso's chicken with a spicy vinegar based sauce.
Ingredients
- Kikkoman Japanese Soy Sauce
- Gluten Free Flour
- C&H Brown Sugar
- Season Rice Wine Vinegar
- Sriracha Sauce
- Argo Corn Starch
- Chopped Green Onion
- Diced Tofu
- Parchment Paper
- Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Organic Minced Ginger
- McCormick Minced Garlic
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Mix together in a bowl some soy sauce and flour, toss in your tofu and mix to coat adding more soy sauce and flour if needed. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and bake your tofu in the oven for about 40 minutes.
- In a bowl mix together some soy sauce, brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, sriracha sauce, and some corn starch. Mix well.
- Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil, toss in some minced garlic and minced ginger, cook while stirring for about 3 minutes.
- Pour in your sauce and cook while mixing for a couple of minutes until your sauce starts to thicken. Toss in your baked tofu and chopped chives, cook while mixing for about 3 minutes, plate and enjoy! #recipesbyvance
