103. Mesquite Burger Steaks!





Delicious mesquite smoked beef patties with grilled onions and a homemade chimichurri sauce.

  • Ground Beef Patty
  • Chili Powder
  • Peeled White Onion
  • Peeled & Sliced Garlic
  • Fresh Chopped Basil
  • Fresh Chopped Oregano
  • Olive Oil
  • Red Wine Vinegar
  • Sea Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Food Processor
Directions
  1. Add to your food processor your sliced garlic, chopped basil, and chopped oregano. Season with sea salt, ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes. 
  2. Drizzle in a little olive oil and red wine vinegar, pulse to smooth into a nice sauce consistency gradually adding more olive oil if needed.
  3. Fire up the grill and load it with some mesquite wood chips. Liberally season your beef patties with salt, pepper, and chili powder. 
  4. Smoke your beef patties along with your peeled onion for about 30 minutes at 300 degrees. Dice your onion, plate your beef patties, top your patties with your onions, serve with your choice of sides and your chimichurry sauce, enjoy!
