105. Homemade Pesto & Avocado Pizza!



Pizza with a delicious homemade pesto sauce, fresh avocados, tomatoes, and a white cheese sauce.

  • Store bought pizza dough
  • Flour
  • Fresh Sliced Avocados
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Fresh Chopped Basil
  • Pine Nuts
  • Parmesan
  • Sea Salt
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Butter
  • White Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Food Processor
  • Micro Greens
Directions
  1. Add to your food processor your chopped basil, pine nuts, and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle in a little olive oil and pulse gently, gradually add more olive oil and continue to pulse until your pesto reaches a nice consistency. 
  2. Heat a pot on medium high heat and add lots of butter, as your butter melts add some flour and whisk well to create a roux. Gradually add milk and continue to whisk for a few minutes until your milk slightly thickens. Gradually add your cheese and whisk well adding more cheese until you reach a nice cheesy/saucy consistency. Season with fresh ground black pepper.
  3. Lightly dust your counter top with flour and roll out your pizza dough. Spread your pesto on your pizza dough, spoon on a few dollops of your cheese sauce, top with your avocado slices and cherry tomatoes, drizzle with a little olive oil, bake in the oven 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, garnish with micro greens, enjoy!
