52. Smoky Pulled Pork Sandwich!

 



Super tender pulled pork, smoke flavored, with a homemade slaw between toasted buns.

  • BBQ Sauce
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Salt
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Rosemary Sprinkles
  • Brown Sugar
  • Chopped Cabbage
  • Sliced Red Onions
  • Julienned Carrots
  • Mayonnaise
  • Sugar
  • Red Wine Vinegar
  • Pork Shoulder or Pork Butt
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Chicken Broth
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Liquid Smoke
  • Yellow Mustard
Directions
  1. Start off by making your spice rub. Mix together BBQ sauce, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, rosemary, and brown sugar; save some of this spice rub for later.
  2. Now make your coleslaw. In a bowl mix chopped cabbage, sliced red onions, and julienned carrots.
  3. Mix in mayonnaise, sugar, and red wine vinegar, mix well then refrigerate.
  4. Rub your spice rub all over your pork. Turn your slow cooker to high then pour in some apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, and yellow mustard. 
  5. Give it a quick whisk then cook your pork roast for 4-5 hours or until the meat is tender enough to break apart with your hands or a fork.
  6. When your pork is done take it out, place it in a large pan and break it apart.
  7. Season your pork with more of your spice rub then toss it back in the slow cooker to soak up the extra juices.
  8. Toast some buns, build your sandwich with your coleslaw and enjoy!
