DoorDash - Photography Request

Hey Vance,

Chris from DoorDash Merchant Support here, following up on your inquiry to add photos to your DoorDash menu for Taco Tuesdays. Thank you for submitting this request!

If you are interested in scheduling a free photoshoot with a DoorDash-contracted photographer, please respond directly to this email with a preferred date and time for your photoshoot. Please make sure you select a photoshoot date that is at least 7 days in advance.

Once we submit your photoshoot request, our Photography Team will reach out via email with further details.

For the photography session, please prepare 10 of your restaurant's most popular dishes. To prevent confusion, make sure that these items are available on your DoorDash menu. During the shoot, please provide the photographer with the menu name of each dish while it's being shot so that we can match menu items to images correctly. You can expect the photoshoot to take roughly one hour.

If you already have professional photos of your menu items that you'd like to use, you are able to add them using the Merchant Portal. To do this follow the steps listed below:

1. Log into the Merchant Portal.
2. Click Menu from tool bar on the left hand side of screen.
3. Select the menu you would like to add the photo(s) to.
4. Click on the grey image inside the item you would like to add the photo(s) to.
5. Click on + Add Image button.
6. Click on + Upload New Image.
7. Name the image. (Best practice is the name of the item)
8. Click Choose Image to Upload and select the image you would like to use.
9. Click Crop and Upload in the bottom right hand side of the screen.

Bacon Oysters Rockefeller

Fresh buttery oysters, creamed spinach beautifully seasoned with crispy bacon.


  1. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some lots of butter, pour in some clam juice and lemon juice. Remove your oysters from the half shell and toss in your pan, season with salt and pepper and heat occasionally turning for about 4 minutes. Take out your oysters and set aside.
  2. Heat another pan on medium high heat and add a little oil. Cook your bacon on both sides for about 6 minutes and nice and crisp, place on paper towels to soak up the excess oil.
  3. Heat a pot on medium high heat and add lots of butter and minced garlic. Cook your garlic for about 2 minutes then add your spinach, pour in some heavy cream, add a good amount of brie cheese, pour in some bread crumbs, season with salt and pepper and cook while turning for about 6 minutes. 
  4. Place your oysters back in the half shells, spoon on some cream spinach, top with pieces of crisp bacon, serve and enjoy!
