Tacos Carne Asada

Authentic Mexican roasted short ribs carne asadas beautifully seasoned with pickled red onions, and fresh avocados. 


  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Heat a deep stainless steel baking dish on medium high heat and add some oil. Season your pork shoulder liberally with salt, pepper, and cumin. Sear your pork shoulder all around for about 15 minutes to get a nice sear on it all around.
  3. Pour in lots of beef stock, and some apple cider vinegar, bring to a simmer, bake in the oven 20 minutes per pound at 325 degrees. Take out and set aside to rest for about 8 minutes.
  4. Slice and dice your pork shoulder, quickly toast your flour tortillas in a non stick pan. Build your tacos with your lettuce, pork shoulder, sliced avocados, and pickled red onions, squeeze on some fresh lime juice, serve with a side of taco bell mild seasoning, and enjoy!
