187. Cheesy Bacon Wrapped Shrimp!



Succulent apple wood smoked bacon wrapped shrimp in a delicious creamy butter cheese sauce.

Ingredients

Directions
  1. Season your shrimp with salt and pepper. Wrap your shrimp with your bacon and stick tooth picks through the side to keep them together. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. 
  2. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil and lots of butter. Sear your bacon wrapped shrimp on both sides for about 4 minutes while basting. Take out and set aside.
  3. Wipe your pan out. Heat your pan on medium high heat and add lots of butter, as your butter starts to melt add some flour and whisk well for about 3 minutes to create a roux. Pour in some milk and continue to whisk for about 5 minutes until it starts to thicken.
  4. Gradually add cheese, lots of cheese and whisk well to create a nice cheesy sauce. Pour your cheese sauce into a bowl, place your bacon wrapped shrimp in your cheese sauce then bake in the oven for about 8 minutes, serve with lemon wedges and enjoy!
