Chicken Fricassee

Super juicy and flavorful chicken simmered in a beautiful red wine and broth sauce.


    1. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add some oil and butter. Season your chicken thighs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and minced garlic. Sear your chicken thighs on both sides for about 5 minutes to get a nice sear and crispy skin. Take out and set aside.
    2. Heat a pot on medium high heat and add lots of butter, as it starts to melt whisk in a little flour to create a roux. Whisk in some red wine and continuously whisk for about 4 minutes.
    3. Pour in lots of chicken stock enough to almost cover your chicken. Toss in your carrots, mushrooms, and onions. Season with minced garlic, salt, and pepper, mix well. Turn your heat down to simmer. Add your chicken and simmer for about 20 minutes occasionally stirring. Plate, garnish with some fresh chopped parsley, enjoy! #recipesbyvance
