Butter Broiled Oysters & Calamari Spaghetti

Beautifully seasoned oysters and calamari broiled and tossed with spaghetti and the most delicious tomato sauce.


  1. Cook your spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Some broilers are located at the bottom of the oven with it's only compartment. On others you would have to raise the rack to the top so it's closer to the flame. 
  2. Heat a pot on medium high heat. Add your canned peeled tomatoes, some tomato paste, water, sugar, salt, pepper, basil seasoning, diced onion, and oregano seasoning. Turn your heat down to a simmer and simmer while stirring for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add lots of butter into a baking dish. Season your oysters and squid with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Plop a scoop of butter on the half shell with your oysters, toss your squid to coat with your butter. Broil your oysters, and squid for about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  4. Toss your spaghetti noodles in with your tomato sauce. Squeeze some fresh squeeze lemon juice on your squid, and oysters. Mix your seafood in with your pasta, sprinkle on some parmesan cheese, garnish with some basil and oregano seasoning, enjoy! #recipesbyvance
