Filet w/ Red Wine Gravy



A super tender and juicy filet mignon with a beautiful red wine gravy sauce.

Ingredients



Directions
  1. Heat a pan on medium high heat and add lots of butter and some flour. Mix well to make a roux. Pour in some red wine, and some beef stock and continue to whisk well until your sauce reaches a nice consistency. Take out and set aside.
  2. Heat another pan on medium high heat and add some oil. Season your steak with salt and pepper and sear on both sides for about 8-10 minutes for a nice medium and depending on the thickness. Set aside to rest for about 4 minutes. Plate, pour our on your sauce, serve with your choice of sides and enjoy! #recipesbyvance
